Setting Captives Free

Written by

The Sanctuary Soul Care team is a group of health care professionals, psychologists, social workers and counsellors who are dedicated to seeing people set free from the bondage of inner turmoil.

We appreciate the help that psychology provides and filter psychology through biblical truth. We believe in the finished work of the cross and that Jesus died to set captives free. However, we are also aware that sanctification is a process and we need to appropriate what Jesus has provided for us at Calvary.

Many Christians all over the world still experience great inner turmoil. They often feel trapped, and locked into habits they can’t seem to break or caught in a sin, but they have been told that they are Christians and they have been told that this sort of thing shouldn’t happen to Christians…but it does.

Our counselling team help people to understand that Christians do face inner torment from many issues: relational problems, anger, depression, shame or guilt to name a few. It is possible to be a Christian, but still live without the peace that is rightfully ours in Christ.

However, while the conflict that churns within is very real, the answers are just as tangible. We are involved in a winnable war. At this counselling center, we are committed to assisting the body of Christ to appropriate the truth of who we are in Christ and what it means to be a child of God.

We regularly see people being set free from negative thoughts, irrational fears and habitual sins.

Therefore, if you feel disturbed by a problem or issue and do not know where to turn please contact us. We are only a call or email away. Please contact us or visit our website.
