Counselling
The Sanctuary is registered as a non-profit organization with the Department of Social Development. We are run by a board of trustees from different churches.
Our team of counsellors are drawn from many denominations and are trained in an advanced level in Biblical counselling
Affordable counselling is open to anyone (whatever their religion), who would like to talk to a counsellor.
Helping one person might not change the whole world, but it could change the world for one person.” Helen Barry
The aim of counselling is to relieve distress, improve coping abilities, raise awareness and understanding of oneself and others, and increase overall well-being.
Our Counsellors help you identify and work towards achieving freedom, breakthrough and healing. We provide a safe and confidential space for sharing thoughts and feelings.
Prayer Ministry
Prayer ministry is an integral part of the Sanctuary.
AN OUTREACH FOR THOSE WHO ARE HELD CAPTIVE BY THEIR PAST!
There is power in Prayer. When men work, they work. But when men pray, God works.” Angus Buchan
For those who feel they are still weighed down by issues of the past. The Sanctuary Soul Care Centre have teams of counsellors ready to assist. Sometimes issues have deep roots that continue to cause pain, heartbreak, and negative effects in a person’s life. Through prayer ministry our counsellors assist people to resolve these issues. Using the Restoring The Foundations approach we have seen many people to receive freedom and healing.
Workshops
Structured, interactive sessions designed for learning, collaboration, and problem-solving, often involving hands-on activities and group discussions.
We aim to bring people together around a specific subject to encourage change
I alone can’t change the world, but I can cast a stone across the water to create many ripples” Mother Teresa
